2019 EISSI Award Categories - Projects

Each year, individuals and organisations are presented awards during the EISSI dinner to acknowledge their work within the industry.   There are many benefits to participating in the awards process, with the main being that it underlines to potential and current clients an organisation's or individual's professionalism and leadership within the industry.

The following 6 project award categories are open to individuals or groups of people from surveying and surveying-related organisations conducting business within NSW. Judging criteria for each category is outlined in the Award Information Kit on this page.

The SIR THOMAS MITCHELL AWARD is presented to the most outstanding overall project judged from the six categories listed below. C R Kennedy is the proud sponsor of this prestigious award for 2019. 

infrastructure and construction category

This award recognises those projects that have contributed to planning, designing, developing construction and/or infrastructure.

 

rural cadastral surveying and land titling category

Recognises an individual’s or organisation’s ability to solve the complexities and overcome the difficulties encountered in the definition of Rural boundaries and the creation of land titling in NSW. 

 

extra dimension and innovation category

This award recognises how innovative techniques contribute to the economic performance of industry and solve unusual problems. 

 

urban cadastral surveying and land titling category

Recognises an individual’s or organisation’s ability to solve the complexities and overcome the difficulties encountered in the definition of Urban boundaries and the creation of land titling in NSW. 

 

Community and sustainable environment category

Individuals or companies who have designed a project, developed products or programs that contributed to the improvement of a locality or the environment.

 

surveying project management

Recognises the skills, knowledge and techniques used by an individual or organisation to manage an engineering work or other projects to deliver the desired outcomes.
